Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on Hamtramck Square. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. Rule

    1. No asking for donations or asking for help. These belong in the Hamtramck Mutual Aid Facebook Group. If you post a troll/negative comment on a topic that exists on other groups you are a member of, it will be removed unless that comment was done across the board. No Troll replies allowed and must be on point to topic. #
    2. No swearing allowed. To be clear, no swearing means no cursing or using derogatory terms! If the admin seems it a curse, it will be removed (even if hidden or re-worded, and/or rephrased to bypass filter). Debating religion is allowed, but be respectful about it and make sure all sources/claims are authentic. #
    3. Only G rated content. Additionally, no videos or articles showing gore or death are allowed. Immodest images not allowed. This excludes ongoing genocides (limit 5 a day). No Zionist propaganda or their flag on avatars allowed in this group. #
    4. No commercial advertising, unless associated with contact information phone number AND address, or an established facebook page with a phone number (Both for duct ads). Always specify price. Not allowed to advertise in this group Adult-oriented (ex: Hookah shops, the occult, bars, and dispensaries). No affiliate links. Only advertise public groups/pages. #
    5. No repeat posts or comments (either by you or another member, even if structured/worded differently). Posts with the same media/news are only allowed a maximum of once every 2 weeks. Repeat posts and comments will be deleted without notice. This excludes breaking news in Hamtramck. Only 1 upvote allowed per day per member. #
    6. Please keep all posts about Hamtramck and its vicinity. All non-Hamtramck Related posts should go in the Hamtramck Unleashed Facebook Group. Posts that touch on things happening in Hamtramck and current city issues are also allowed. Members are allowed 1 post per day that isn't about Hamtramck. #
    7. Fake/Anonymous/outside state profiles can register and post. However, they can not make any claims against other community members, businesses or officials. Any posts that complain about how bad this group is, will be removed. If you don't like it here, leave. Any insinuation to the Identity of the admin Hjmahh is not allowed. Limit 1 anonymous post a user a day. #
