Hamtramck City Property Auction 2023

The auction process is as follows: Bidders will have three weeks to submit a complete auction bid application. Bids will be required to be at or above a minimum price. Bidders will also be required to commit to constructing a new residential unit, bringing an existing structure up to code, or expanding an adjacent home within two years. Finally, bidders will have to commit that the completed project will be owner occupied. Bids will be opened publicly on January 30, 2023 at 10am and the highest, qualified bidder will be selected. The auction will be advertised in several local publications, on the City website, and on social media.

  • 2930 Denton and 7901 Joseph Campau – Bids will be required to be at or above a minimum price of $52,669.00. Bidders will also be required to commit to purchasing both parcels as a set, removing contaminated soils, properly fencing the area, and working with the city to revitalize the corner that serves as the southern entrance to the city on Joseph Campau.
